In preparing for my trip to Vegas to party with our Main Event qualifiers, I had to contact all of the players each week after they won their seat to congratulate them and get them set to represent Team Bovada at the WSOP. It’s been great to get to talk to our players all across America and it seems like we will have a fun, diverse group this year as our player’s ages range from 22 to 80! That’s right, an 80 year-old man beat out over 100 other Bovada players to nab a seat at poker’s biggest event.
After 12 weeks of satellites and one giant freeroll, we had assembled 57 men and women who would make up Team Bovada and play for over $8 Million in the World Series of Poker Main Event at the Rio in Las Vegas. I can’t wait to meet everyone from the Team and we have a great experience planned for them that they will never forget.
