The bar was stocked, bowling alleys were sparkling, prizes were displayed and the arcade machines were jumping as we opened up our Manliest Mancave on Friday. Immediately our players started coming by to check out our awesome suite and have a drink or two (or three).
Throughout the weekend we had players of all ages from across the country stopping by with their friends and having a great time. You could tell that all of our WSOP qualifiers were really impressed with the layout of the suite and all the cool stuff we had to offer. It was truly an amazing experience to get to meet and hang out with our players.
We had a contest at the suite for the best bowling score rolled during our entire 4 days in The Mancave, and the winning score was 193. While that is a somewhat impressive score, what was really mind-blowing was the fact that the guy had only bowled once in his life before coming by our suite. The first day he was there he was bowling 60’s, understandably low considering he’s a rookie. The next day he came in and bowled 5 straight strikes en route to his record-setting 193. I couldn’t believe his progression. Maybe he should think about quitting poker and trying his luck on the PBA!
