And the Punta Cana Poker Classic Winners are...

And The Winners are...

The first three Punta Cana Poker Classic Main Event titles might have gone to Canadians and Americans, but the recipient of this year’s trophy and $171,100 first place prize wasn’t guaranteed to be from North America. The final table featured a good mix of players, who collectively hailed from five different countries.
Heading into the final table, the chip lead was held by Chilean Leonel Otazo, who sat with 2.475 million in chips. Right behind him was Canadian Chanracy Khun, with 2.36 million. While the bottom three spots were occupied by Americans Anthony Zinno (615,000), Bovada’s Johnathan Iacovelli (495,000) and Stuart Marshak (195,000), Bovada’s own American Derrick Scott sat in 3rd place with 1.25 million in chips. Rounding out the November 9 were Guillermo Olvera of Mexico in 4th (940,000), Gabriel Diaz of Peru in 5th (885,000), and Patrick Serda of Canada in 6th (650,000).
The 2013 Punta Cana Poker Classic’s November 9 ended the tournament as follows:
9th: Stuart Marshak
8th: Bovada’s Derrick Scott
7th: Patrick Serda's
6th: Gabriel Diaz
5th: Chanracy Khun
4th: Anthony Zinno
3rd: Bovada’s Jonathan Iacovelli
2nd: Leonel Otazo
1st: Guillermo Olvera
Bovada would like to congratulate all of our players for their spectacular showing in this year’s Punta Cana Poker Classic.  A special mention to both Jonathan and Derrick who made the final table – and a huge cograts to Jonathan who took home third place in the entire tournament.  With six members of Team Bovada making it into the money, 2013 has been our best Punta Cana Poker Classic yet!
